Lunch programme
Pizza every Friday and popcorn every Monday. Order by Wednesday for the coming Friday, or for the whole term in one go.

Pay once and the class lists sort themselves out. Every Friday morning the volunteers get a list by class of who ordered what, and the pizza goes straight to the classroom.
Missed the Wednesday cut-off? Orders reopen for the following Friday.
A term pass covers every Monday at break, so nobody has to remember the cash. Same order form, choose popcorn.
Get involved
Most jobs take one afternoon or one evening. Pick what suits you and we will be in touch.
Time: a few hours at one event
Setting up, serving and tidying at the Holiday Market and the anniversary party.
Time: one evening
Welcoming guests and checking tickets on your phone. We show you how on the night.
Time: Friday lunchtime
Sorting pizza by class using the printed list, then delivering it.
Time: a term or a year
Keeping the families in your child's class up to date on what's coming.
A committee member writes back within a week with dates that need people. You choose which ones you can do.
Give
Give for a purpose you choose, or to the general fund to be used where it will help most.
You pay on the next page, in Authorize.Net's secure form, and get an emailed receipt.
Tell us the amount and purpose and the treasurer will email you the account details and a reference to use.

Parents, families and community members working with teachers and the school to make every student's experience a little richer.
Our mission is to encourage and enhance the educational experience of our students, teachers and administration.
We foster a sense of support, pride and enthusiasm through family activities and volunteer-based programmes that support our teachers, students and parents. The SPTA supports the mission of Somersfield Academy in two ways: by organising and promoting volunteering among parents, and by raising funds for facilities and programmes.
What we do

Socials, the Holiday Market, the anniversary party and the small things in between.
Ticketed events, the shop, lunch orders and donations, spent on facilities and programmes for students.
The school
Founded in 1991 as a Montessori school, Somersfield Academy now also offers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. The PTA is a separate parent body that supports the school's mission.
How we are run
The SPTA is a registered charity (number 1030) governed by its by-laws. Officers are elected each year, and spending is decided by the committee and reported at the AGM.
